This past Thursday I went out to sunny California to visit my sister. The trip couldn't have come at a better time!! I traded in the snowy Colorado weather for a warm 70 degrees. And, it was just a nice break from life. I love getting to spend time with my sister, and we definitely made up for lost time.
I'm going to do a couple of posts of this trip, but here's the start of the trip....
As most of you know, I LOVE dessert. Especially chocolate. There's a place in San Diego called Extraordinary Desserts. So, of course we went. My sister had been before, but I was in heaven! They have so many desserts to choose from and they're all decorated with fresh fruit and flowers. My sister got a French Strawberry Pie and I had a Truffe Framboise, a chocolate raspberry cake. AMAZING.

I love shopping with my sister. There's just something comforting and natural about going shopping together. Friday we hit up the malls, and I'd say we did pretty well.
