Wednesday's Words of Wisdom

Some things don't matter much. Like the color of a house. How big is that in the overall scheme of life? But lifting a person's heart- now that matters. The whole problem with people is they know what matters, but they don't choose it...The hardest thing on earth is choosing what matters.

Weekend Wrap-Up

We had such a great weekend! It was jammed full of activities from the time I got off work on Friday but it was so much fun. And, yes, we went to bed before 9 on Sunday night to recoup!
Friday night we went to the Rockies game with Eric & Erin and Casey. The Rockies lost and it even snowed a little bit, but it was fun to hang out and cheer on the home team.
All of us trying to stay warm

After the game we headed over to Wynkoop Brewery to play some pool and shuffle board.
My sister and Casey were running in the Colorado Half Marathon up in Ft. Collins on Sunday. We got up bright and early (4am!) to go cheer them on. We dropped them off around 5:30 and unfortunately NOTHING in downtown Ft. Collins opens until 6:30. So Ben and I walked around the town for an hour before we grabbed some breakfast at the Silver Grill. It was amazing food and delicious hot chocolate!
After breakfast we headed over to the finish line with our cowbells to cheer on the runners. I am so proud of my sister and Casey. They both ran awesome and my sister crushed her goal time. Way to go guys!
Cowbells in hand!
